Terms of Use

Last updated October 15, 2026

By creating a VeriMate account you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who can use VeriMate

You must be at least 18, legally able to agree to these terms, and not barred from using dating services by any law or court order. One account per person.

2. Be real

3. How to behave

Do not:

  1. Harass, threaten, bully, or send unwanted sexual content.
  2. Post or show nudity, violence, hate, or anything illegal, including on video calls.
  3. Ask for money, promote businesses, or send spam or links to scams.
  4. Share another member's messages or photos, or record or screenshot a video call, without their permission.
  5. Use bots, scrape data, or try to get around VeriMate's security or verification.

We may remove content, limit features, or close accounts that break these rules, with or without warning.

4. Your safety

Verification confirms that a profile's photos match the person who took the live check. It does not check criminal records or confirm anyone's intentions. Meet in public, tell a friend your plans, and use Block and Report whenever something feels wrong. You are responsible for your own interactions with other members.

5. Your content

You own the photos, words and messages you add. You give VeriMate permission to store and display them inside the app so the service can work. This permission ends when you delete them or your account, except as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Memberships

VeriMate is free to use. Optional paid memberships, when offered, are sold and billed through Google Play, renew automatically until cancelled in Google Play, and follow Google Play's refund rules. Prices are shown before you buy.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

8. Disclaimers and limits

VeriMate is provided "as is". We do not promise that you will find a match or that the app will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, VeriMate is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the conduct of any member on or off the app.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will tell you in the app before important changes take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA.
